On the 10th of May, NOVA School of Science and Technology hosts the final event of the European STRATEGY CCUS project, that will take place via Zoom.
The project, financed by H2020 and in which the School is a partner, studied from a technical, economic and environmental point of view, scenarios for CCUS (capture, use and storage of CO2) in diverse regions of Europe, namely for the Lusitanian Basin area, in Portugal.
In this closing meeting, will be presented CCUS scenarios for Portugal, visions and climate mitigation plans of some national industries, the potential integration of CCUS in the national energy-climate policy and technology financing opportunities for the Portuguese industry.
