On the 2nd of November, NOVA School of Science and Technology will host the commemorative event of the "World Materials Day", organised by the Portuguese Materials Society (SPM) and by the Order of Engineers. The local Organising Committee is chaired by Maria do Carmo Lança and Maria Margarida Lima, both professors and researchers at of the Department of Materials Science of FCT NOVA.
The event will be hybrid (face-to-face and online) and will include the attribution of several prizes among which the "FEMS Award to the best master thesis in Europe", the "SPM 2022 Award" and the "Order of Engineers Award". (poruqe é que o premio tb n é traduzido como em cima?)
