The Alfândega do Porto Congress Centre is set to host the Encontro Ciência 2024 (2024 Science Meeting) on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
The event, themed "+Science for One Health and Global Well-being," aims to serve as a hub for researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and the wider public to promote and advance contemporary science.
The agenda comprises plenary and thematic sessions, alongside an exhibition area and scientific e-posters presented by PhD students. This initiative will unite esteemed national and international scientists to deliberate on the future of science, proposing innovative solutions and advancing knowledge towards constructing a fairer, more sustainable, and healthier society.
Encontro Ciência stands as the largest national event within the realm of science and technology, jointly organised by the Foundation for Science and Technology and the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture - Ciência Viva, and this year, in collaboration with the University of Porto. It enjoys support from the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, as well as the Parliamentary Committee for Education, Science, Youth, and Sport.
