The NOVA Formula Student team made its competitive debut this year with great results. With approximately 60 members, they were present at the National Competition, which took place in Castelo Branco at the beginning of September, and in Austria. They came away with prizes from both competitions.
From Castelo Branco, they took 3rd place in the competition, 1st for ‘Business Plan’ and ‘Best Social Media’ and 2nd place in the ‘Cost and manufacturing and engineering design’ category. In Austria, one of the most competitive meetings, the team achieved 17th place.
Formula Student is the most prestigious university car competition and is held annually at various circuits around the world. The races assess the performance of the teams throughout each season in different categories, such as Business, Design or Performance of the car manufactured.
The team competed with its latest car: the FS FENIX EVO, presented in June this year. They are currently accepting applications for new members.
