Last October 8th, 15 students from Bonn, Germany, had the opportunity to get to know the academic environment of NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA). These were the first students this school year that came to our campus under the Vem Ver ( Come and See) program promoted by this School.
With this program, which in 2018 received over 1000 students, visitors get to know the laboratories, the amphitheaters, the departments, and also have the oportunity to participate in activities prepared especially for them. Games, demonstrations and short lectures expose the variety of knowledge that exists in this Faculty.
Many of our students learned about FCT NOVA's educational offer through this initiative, which helped them to understand the quality of this school and motivated them to continue their training with us.
The Vem Ver program is open to all students from 1st to 12th grade; works with group or individual visits, requiring registration through this form (confirmation by email of the appointment is necessary).
FCT NOVA also offers the possibility of the school to be visited by one of our teachers and / or researchers, with the Embaixadores (Ambassadors) initiative. Learn more here.
