NOVA School of Science and Technology alumni win Altice Innovation Awards

Altice Innovation Awards

C-mo, a project developed by former students of Biomedical Engineering at NOVA School of Science and Technology, won in two categories at the 4th edition of the Altice Innovation Awards.

The project that monitors cough received the prize in the Startup grouping, with a monetary value of 50 thousand euros and the possibility of carrying out a proof of concept with the Altice Group, with a minimum duration of 9 months.

The team also won the Born From Knowledge category, a recognition attributed by the National Agency for Innovation under the SIAC - Knowledge Transfer Initiative, co-financed by COMPETE 2020, through Portugal 2020 and the European Regional Development Fund.

C-mo has been distinguished in several competitions, having received numerous awards, such as Life Enablers (2018), NOVA Idea Competition (2019), I3S Health Innovation Prize (2019), an honorable mention from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2019) and the EIT Health InnoStars HeadStart (2020).
