The researcher will receive 115 thousand euros over three years to collaborate in the IDEATE - Imagining DEgrowth trAjecToriEs project. This work follows the doctoral thesis on degrowth and sustainability transitions defended in 2019 by her supervisor Inês Cosme, professor and researcher at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at NOVA.

The project proposes to rethink the economic system in a collaborative way and using a degrowth perspective. By initiating dialogue and using ideation methods, the researchers aim to promote direct interaction between citizens, sustainability initiatives, academics and policymakers, in order to find sustainable solutions and focused on local problems.

The 2020 edition of the INPhINIT doctoral fellowship program of the Fundación "la Caixa" received more than 1,000 applications and only 65 selected researchers. The program aims to support the best scientific talents and boost innovative and high-quality research in Spain and Portugal
