FCT NOVA cooperates in 14 of the 51 consortia approved in the scope of the Mobilizing Agendas

The NOVA School of Science and Technology has contributed, as a partner, in 16 Mobilizing Agendas for Business Innovation consortia, of which 14 received a favorable recommendation for funding under the Component 5 - Capitalisation and Business Innovation, integrated in the Resilience Dimension of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).

This tender seeks to increase the competitiveness and resilience of the economy based on R&D, innovation, diversification and specialisation of the productive structure.

In view of these results, the School demonstrates its capacity to support the country and society to achieve solutions for the transformative recovery of the economy, in a creative, lasting, fair, sustainable and inclusive way.

The NEURASPACE - AI Fights Space Debris aims to create a new value chain in the space economy, more specifically in space traffic management,

The HfPT - Health from Portugal seeks to place Portugal as a world reference hub in the design, development and production of revolutionary solutions for the health markets, based on innovation and technology.

BE.Neutral - Mobility Agenda for carbon neutrality in cities, intends to position Portugal as an exporter of cyber-physical zero-carbon mobility products for cities around the world.

The Blue Bioeconomy Pact aims to renew Portuguese industries by integrating blue biotechnology solutions into the value chains, enhancing the sustainable use of marine bio-resources and carbon-neutral innovation.

NGS - New Generation Storage purpose is to create a new technological ecosystem in the area of batteries that will make the national industry stand out in the global market.

With the InsectERA project, the consortium intends to foster the circular economy and leverage the development of innovative products, processes and services, based on R&D and innovation, with an immense added value and incorporation of knowledge and technology, allowing to confront the challenge of the green transition towards environmental sustainability, using insects as alternatives in food, cosmetics and even in bioremediation.

The Drivolution Agenda seeks to promote the creation of a Factory of the Future model, based on actions capable of responding to the challenges underlying the energy transition and digital transformation in the automotive sector, allowing to establish the foundations for a smart, sustainable, inclusive and resilient growth.

The PRODUTECH R3 project aims to enable the production technologies sector (FTP) to exploit the significant investments that the industry will secure with the green and digital transition, reducing external technological dependence, increasing the added value generated in the country and contributing to a change in the specialization of the Portuguese economy.

M-ECO2: Industrial cluster for advanced biofuel production pretends to develop a strikingly innovative industrial cluster for the production of advanced sustainable biofuels based on green hydrogen and residual raw materials.

Sustainable Stone by Portugal will work for the valorisation of natural stone for a digital and qualified future.

R2UTechnologies - modular systems focuses on modifying the productive profile of the modular construction sector, promoting its evolution from a labor-intensive productive paradigm to a knowledge-intensive one.

Transform will work on the digital transformation of the forestry sector towards a resilient and low-carbon economy.

From Fossil to Forest intends to develop packaging and cellulose-based products to replace fossil plastics.

TEC4GREEN aims to prepare the agro-industrial sector (food and forestry) for future technological and environmental challenges, minimizing environmental impact (soil, water and atmospheric, and promoting the sustainability of the sector, with a focus on the circularity of the value chain).
