The 3rd Congress on Testing and Experimentation in Civil Engineering will be held at the Caparica Campus from 21 to 23 June, , with the theme of Smart Technologies (Test&E 2022).
The meeting, organised by the NOVA School of Science & Technology, the Association of Accredited Laboratories of Portugal and the Instituto Superior Técnico, intends to emphasise the importance of Smart Technologies in the development of Civil Engineering and its diverse areas of activity.
Smart Technologies tend to assume an increasingly significant role in all Civil Engineering activities, from the planning and design phases, through construction, to the maintenance and management of the built environment, with particular emphasis on the interaction between the various actors and between them and society. The permanent evolution of tests and experimentation in Civil Engineering will contribute decisively to the integration of these innovative technologies.
The congress programme includes keynote conferences, a plenary session, technical sessions and a technical exhibition, and online courses, which aims to provide a broad forum for the dissemination and sharing of knowledge and experiences among the participants from research and education, industry and services in all areas of civil engineering.
