The 13th edition of DoCEIS - "Advanced Doctoral Conference on Computing, Electrical and Industrial Systems" - is being held at UNINOVA, on Caparica Campus, until July 1st.
This year's theme, "Technological Innovation for Digitalisation and Virtualisation", addresses the valorisation of information technologies and communication in the development of sustainable, efficient and flexible solutions. These technologies have seized a predominant place in all areas of activity.
The keynote speakers includes: Yang Liu, Professor at Linköping University, in Sweden; Damien Trentesaux, Professor at the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France; and Isabel Ramos, President of the Portuguese Association for Computing Systems.
The conference is intended to be a meeting point for doctoral students, researchers and teachers, building up a network for sharing that aims to be the engine of new opportunities and new collaborations.
