FCT NOVA researchers are once again at the top of the world rankings in their fields.

In the most recent update of the ranking of the most cited scientists worldwide, made available now by Stanford University (California, USA), NOVA School of Science and Technology is again represented with 32 researchers most cited throughout the career and 34 researchers with more impact in the last year.

The study, known as "World's Top 2% Scientists list" and coordinated by John Ioannidis, professor at Stanford University, identified the 100 thousand most influential researchers in 22 scientific areas and 176 disciplines, from more than 169 countries, whose work contributed to accelerate the progress and productivity in their areas.
