Júlia Seixas, Pro-Rector of the NOVA University of Lisbon, professor and researcher of the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering of NOVA FCT, is one of the faces of the exhibition "17 Faces of Action".

The exhibition distinguishes 17 Portuguese women for their work in fostering the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations. The exhibition "17 Faces of Action" is an initiative jointly developed by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Permanent Mission of Portugal to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva, through Camões - Institute for Cooperation and Language, I.P., with the support of the National Library of Portugal (BNP).

Based on the values of multiculturalism, human integrity, equality and sustainable development, the initiative aims to contribute to uniting and empowering women around the world.

The exhibition is open at the National Library of Portugal, until 18 August, in Lisbon. Admission is free.
