The FCT NOVA Professors Isabel and José Moura and the Researchers Sofia Pauleta and Luísa Maia, the UCIBIO, REQUIMTE, FCT NOVA Chemistry Department, published a book of the Royal Society of Chemistry. 


For the seventh consecutive year, it was awarded the prize APDIO - FCT UNL to the best student of Operations Research. The prize for the academic year 2015/16 was attributed to Matilde Sobral Pinto Castro de Oliveira from Master in Mathematics and Applications.

Genomic study reveals surprising diversity of top-fermenting beer yeasts

A new study led by José Paulo Sampaio, Professor at FCT-NOVA, shows surprising results in the domestication event of Ale beer yeasts, being very distinct from the domestication event of wine yeasts.
