FCT NOVA's Caparica campus was awarded the Green Flag award for the first time, distinguishing it as an Eco-School for its efforts and commitments to become more sustainable.
The Eco-School distinction, attributed by Associação Bandeira Azul da Europa (ABAE), corresponds to the recognition of the work developed by the Sustainable FCT NOVA team in the pursuit of a + Sustainable Campus through the involvement of all school actors in a collaborative Sustainability Strategy.
The Day of the Green Flags to Eco-Schools 2020 will be transmitted live on YouTube ABAE and Facebook Eco-Escolas, on 13 November. On this day, the work of all those who contributed to making the day-to-day life of the school and the community in which it operates will be recognized.
