The MSc in Robotics Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (MeRSIM) offers innovative training in intelligent manufacturing and autonomous robotic systems, with a program recognized at national and international level. It aims to fill gaps in the training of professionals for the factories of the future, with a focus on autonomous robots, collaborative solutions and distributed manufacturing systems.
Aimed at students with diverse backgrounds, MeRSIM provides an advanced and flexible education in Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing Systems. This master's degree aims to intensify research, development and knowledge and technology transfer relationships with companies and other entities and contribute to the promotion of science dissemination initiatives.
These scholarships, worth 450 euros, are available to all students who:
a) Are applying, for the first time to the first year of a Master’s degree at NOVA FCT;
b) Have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a final grade equal to or higher than 15 (out of 20);
c) Have completed their Bachelor’s degree at a higher education institution in Portugal or in another Member State of the European Union.
Note: Only candidates whose course edition takes place at NOVA FCT are eligible.
The results will be announced in November 2026.

Tuition fee - Foreign students: 7000€ / year
Accepted candidates will be required to pay (within 7 consecutive days from the placement date) a non-refundable fee of €100, which will be deducted from the total tuition fee after enrolment.
Non-payment within this period will result in automatic exclusion of the candidate. No exceptions or late payments will be considered. Any payment made after the deadline will not be refunded, and the candidate will remain excluded.
