Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia visits FCT NOVA

On January 14th, FCT NOVA received  MLADEN ŠARČEVIĆ, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development from the Republic of Serbia.  

The Minister was accompanied by three Secretaries of State Viktor Nedovic, Ana Langovic-Milicevic and Vladimir Popovic, the Director of Innovation, Ivan Rakonjac, the Principal Researcher from the Institute of Biological Sciences, Marina Sokovic and the UNDP representativeKatarina VuksicAmbassador Oliver Antic and Counsellor Bojana Didic were also part of the visit. 

The Minister and his entourage were introduced to the research work of the Department of Materials, in particular to the Research Timeline, Electronic Characterization and e-paper Production Laboratory. The visit followed to the Department of Informatics where the group was able to see the work developed in the Smart Lab for Cyberphysical Systems. Finally, the Serbian Minister was also able to see the Production of Bioplastics at Pilot Plant  from the Department of Chemistry. And there was still time to visit the Library. 

The meeting allowed the entourage to become aware of FCT NOVA's quality of research.
