On the 8th of November will be held at NOVA School of Science and Technology the seminar “FabLabs and Education: Challenges and Opportunities to Boost STEAM Competencies”.
Paulo Blikstein, professor and researcher at Columbia University, expert in cutting-edge educational technologies, presents the video lecture “The maker movement and digital manufacturing in education: revolution or fad?”. Also participate with two communications: Miquel Carreras, from the Lyceu Politècnic, Barcelona, "FabLab @ School: Rethinking Education. A concrete experience at the Lyceu Politècnic"; and António Gonçalves, from Lab Aberto, “Learning from a FAB LAB”.
This seminar is organized by the NOVA School of Science and Technology Library and FCT FabLab, with the support of American Corner and the Fablabs Portugal Association.
