The International Relations and Mobility Division organize, on March 2, at 10:00 am, in the Library Auditorium, the Welcome Session for the 90 new foreign students, who will spend a period of their studies at NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA), under the scope of mobility programs and cooperation protocols.
This informative and welcoming session aims to facilitate the process of integrating these students into the School and the City of Almada.
The Student Association will also be represented, with 10 volunteers who will accompany new students throughout the day, and will have the opportunity to publicize all the activities and services it offers.
This “Welcome day” additionally includes a guided tour of the campus and a excursion of the beaches of Costa de Caparica and the various points of interest in Almada.
Present at the session will be Virgílio Cruz Machado, Dean of FCT NOVA, Ricardo Gonçalves, Assistant Vice-Dean for Internationalization, Edgar Coimbra, President of the Student Association, and Isabel Sequeira Pinto, Head of the Academic Division.
The School has been generating the interest of international students, with this year seeing an increase in the flow of mobility students when compared to the same period in the previous year.
