NOVA is among the 200 best universities in the world in the areas of Civil Engineering and Food Science and Technology, according to the prestigious Shanghai ranking.
In this assessment, with more than 5,000 universities from 96 countries, a series of objective academic indicators and third-party data were used to measure the performance of world universities in relevant matters, including international academic awards, top academic achievements, research quality, and international collaboration.
This ranking reinforces NOVA's leadership at national and international level, particularly in the fields of Civil Engineering and Food Science and Technology. The Faculty also stands out in Biotechnology, being among the top 300 universities.
