NOVA School of Science and Technology | NOVA FCT has secured the approval of 20 research projects as coordinating institution in the 2023 edition of the Scientific Research and Technological Development Projects (IC&DT) call, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). These projects represent a total funding of approximately €5 million, reflecting the excellence, diversity, and impact of the research carried out at NOVA FCT.
The selected projects — both individual and collaborative — span a wide range of scientific fields, with particular emphasis on engineering, science, and technology. The principal investigators are affiliated with NOVA FCT, Nova.ID.FCT, and UNINOVA, and represent several departments and R&D units, including LAQV, UCIBIO, i3N, CENSE, MARE, NOVA MATH, and CTS.
This recognition strengthens NOVA FCT’s position as a hub for research excellence, deeply committed to addressing major societal challenges and advancing science across multiple domains.
