José Legatheaux Martins, Full Professor gave his jubilation lesson on October 20, the first jubilation lesson of the Department.


Emanuel Carlos won first place in the Doctorate category and Maria Morais won second place in the Masters category.


47Care and Fala+ are the two projects developed by students at the NOVA School of Science and Technology that won the IdeaUp, an entrepreneurship competition in the health area promoted by Glintt.

“It Matters How Open Knowledge: Building Structural Equity” is this year's theme, which aligns with the recent UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, in which Open Access is a crucial element.

“It was a pleasant surprise to have been chosen for a ClubeMath 2021/22 scholarship and I want to thank the opportunity, which came to recognize the work I have been doing”, added Catarina Martins.


Funded by the Horizon 2020 program, it will equally undergo tests in France, Spain, Italy, Greece and Romania.


The  new Sports Club, with an estimated investment of around 870,000 euros, will be fully operational in February, with construction work scheduled to begin in October.


The ceremony will take place on October 20th, at 3 pm, in the Grand Auditorium.


NOVA joined this network of science and technology universities in 2018.


The researchers Carla Silva and João Pequeno from MARE NOVA were part of one of the winning teams of the Blue Bio Value Ideation, which took place on the 25th and 26th of September at the Porto Business School.
