These shorter duration courses (approximately 200h), created under the scope of the CMU Portugal Program, are practical training for solving day-to-day problems.
The session, which will take place via zoom, is open to the entire NOVA community and aims to present the key results of the project, including an analysis and recommendations of national and European policies for the transfer of technology and innovation in the Blue Economy sectors.
The CEE was created in July 2019 and integrates six of the main Portuguese Engineering Schools, promoting joint activities on higher education, research, and innovation in engineering in Portugal, in Portuguese-speaking countries, and in other territories of the world.
With a multidisciplinary program, the course aims for the graduates to be able to assess the current state of a railroad, propose more efficient and effective rehabilitation measures, and evaluate its additive value as a function of the improvement of the railway dynamic performance.
Elvira Fortunato, Vice-Rector of NOVA, professor, and researcher at the Department of Materials Science, will be the Patron and will deliver the laudation.

This is NOVA's oldest entrepreneurship academy that allows the creation of an entrepreneurial project in a multidisciplinary team made up of students from different NOVA Schools.
The project will be developed based on research already conducted in the areas of health communication, terminology, health literacy, and dissemination of scientific knowledge by team members.
