Council of Department Chairs

The College of Department Chairs is an advisory and support body to the Dean in the management of the School, ensuring ongoing coordination between the central governing bodies and the governance of the departments. It is composed of the Dean, who presides over it, and the Department Chairs.

The College of Department Chairs is responsible for providing opinions on any matters submitted to it by the Dean, in particular regarding the following areas:

a) General guidelines for the School in scientific, pedagogical, and financial matters;
b) Reassignment of faculty members, researchers, and non-academic staff between departments;
c) Projects involving multiple departments;
d) Allocation of teaching duties.
