The computational needs of students, faculty, visitors, collaborators and staff in an academic scientific research environment are varying and wide-ranging. In this talk I will focus on how the Mellon College of Science fulfills computing the needs for Scientific Research for the departments of Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Cosmology, Chemistry and Biology. This talk does not focus on needs for teaching or college administration which are also provided but outside the focus of this talk.
