The activity will take place in August at the Lourinhã Museum, from Monday to Friday, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 


This year the ranking has a new feature and includes a criterion that analyses the authorship of scientific articles from the gender perspective.


This year are expected the celebration of new protocols and partnerships that allow investment outside the project and the launch of a scholarship contest that should take place during September.


The protocols aim to promote the advanced training of scientists within the portuguese language community and to stimulate the progressive modernization and restructuring of engineering education in the European university context.

Women in Mathematics

The program includes the exhibition "Women in Mathematics - History and Portraits" which recalls the history of 12 women who were important to Mathematics and to society.


This year's edition will be dedicated to NOVA's talent, in particular to Researchers who have been awarded with grants from the European Research Council (ERC).


In the recently released results of 2019,  this training occupies the 11th place in the world of "Best Masters in Big Data Management" and is the only Portuguese Master to be included in the list.

Sir Martyn Poliakoff is worldwide recognized as a global leader in Green Chemistry and it was by his suggestion that in 2019 the 150 years of the Periodic Table of the Elements are globally celebrated.

The prize is awarded annually by Banco Santander and aims to promote the generation and transfer of knowledge in the different domains of corporate social responsibility.
