The “Centro de Investigação de Materiais” (Materials Research Center) is a research center homed by the Department of Materials Science of the College of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon. It has been classified as “excellent” by an international board of experts and integrates the recently created I3N (Institute for Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication), which received the statute of “Laboratório Associado” (Associate Laboratory) from the Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education in November 2006.
Applications are invited for an Assistant Researcher (post-doctoral) position aimed at the preparation and characterization of new oxide semiconductors (n and p type) to be used in Transparent Electronics like TCOs, TFTs for display applications and Integrated Circuits to be used in rigid and flexible substrates. We are looking for highly motivated applicants with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with people from other disciplines in an international environment. The group responsible for this project is conducting pioneering, cutting edge fundamental and applied research in the field of Transparent Electronics with running projects with large industries in the field.
The position offered is for one year (renewable up to a total of 51 months).
