"Secret Paper" Project wins INCM Innovation Award

The team coordinated by FCT NOVA researchers Elvira Fortunato and Rodrigo Martins was the winner of the INCM Innovation Prize thus guaranteeing the financing of the project "Secret Paper - an innovative and low cost approach" and a cash prize of ten thousand euros.

 Coding Fest Platform enables collaborative Code Hours

Last November 26th, the FCT Coding Fest 2016 welcomed about 250 students from 10 elementary schools to a "Code Hour", a global movement that reaches tens of millions of students in more than 180 countries and aims to increase the consciousness of society about what is computer science.

From today until December 11, students, teachers, schools and educational communities from all over the country can participate in a global action whose objective is to familiarize themselves with programming and code - the Portuguese Code Movement.
